Ohhhh mama. Isn't this a beaut? I'm not going to sit here and claim to be Miley Cyrus' biggest fan - sure, if We Can't Stop comes on in a club, I'm getting involved - but what I am a fan of, is MAC's Viva Glam. With every single penny going to the MAC Aids Fund, I'm fully on board but when the released shade in said campaign is actually brilliant? Well, it's a win-win.
Following in the footsteps of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and of course the original Viva Glam star, Ru Paul, Miley Cyrus is the 2015 spokesperson pairing a super vibrant hot pink Amplified lipstick alongside a girly, glittery lipglass which create a simply fabulous duo.
Amplified is one of my favourite MAC finishes due to the heavy application, full on pigmentation and long-lasting formula and the Viva Glam Miley shade is so gorgeous. A super vibrant pink that really packs a punch - I love! It was a given that I'd buy the lipstick but the lipglass? I'm not normally a fan. However, after swatching them together, I couldn't say no. The Viva Glam Miley Lipglass is a sheer vibrant pink with tons of glitter suspended within it - it's not too sticky, but is tacky enough to last.
When you pair the lipstick and lipglass together you get pure Barbie goodness that I'm a sucker for! This isn't for the faint hearted, this is going to say 'look at me' but I can't help but think I'll be proud to sport this even to a trip to the shops. Look out, Morrisons - coming through!

Ease yourself in with something like a brighter pink Revlon Lip Butter, sheer enough but still gets that colour - then build up to something like this :) xx
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the Miley Viva Glam range, I haven’t actually picked up the lipglass yet but definitely gonna try and track it down as it looks gorgeous on your lips :) The lipstick is stunning, and since discovering this I have fell in love with the amplified finish :) Fab review :)
