Review: Super Facialist Tea Flower Mask

Face masks have always been one of those things I've shyed away from in the past because I saw them as quite spa-like as a teen and something that'd bring out all my imperfections and leave me with horrid skin. Let's be honest, no one wants to see that. However, in my older years I've branched out, matured and got a bit braver.
My latest "mature" purchase was that of the Super Facialist by Una Brennan Tea Flower Deep Clean Pore Purifying Clay Mask... seriously, Una? Long enough?

Thanks to a rave review from Anna at Vivianna Does Makeup - this girl has a damn good way with words - I was sucked in and I have to say I am loving it! Unlike other masks, it hasn't left my skin with drawn out spots and blemishes but instead seems to zap them before they get angry. It says it unclogs pores and restores skin balance. The great thing about it is you only need to leave it on for 5 minutes and can feel a tingling sensation when it's time to take it off - which is great for girls on the go or a last minute Sunday facial for those weekends where the second pitcher of Cosmo wasn't such a good idea. The tingling sensation isn't uncomfortable or painful, more like a refreshing zing from the tea tree oil. You can just feel it working its magic.

At £8.99 for a whopping 125ml it's perfect for those who are new to the face mask world. It'll last a while as you don't need too much.

I really can't rave about this enough, it's a lovely light consistency, doesn't have a funny clay smell and leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated and deeply cleansed. I think I need to try some more from this range!

Have you tried any of the Super Facialist products?

P.S. It's my birthday - wahoo!
