What I Bought Recently #1

Happy Sunday you lovely lot! It is so cold this morning, no?! I'm wrapped up in my dressing gown with a cup chai latte next to me right now hoping the other half will get up soon so we can get our breakfast on. In the meantime, I thought I'd share with you the result of a recent post-work trip to Birmingham...

Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser link
I'd been eyeing this up for months after a few good reviews on it but it was the mention of it in a Caroline Hirons video that swayed it for me. If the skincare Queen says it's good, I'm gon' need it - am I right? I've not had chance to try it yet but it feels silky smooth on the skin. It doesn't smell of much in my opinion but if it leaves my skin squeaky clean, I'm not fussed! I'll be trialling it later this morning after showering - check my Twitter for a brief first impression!

CoLab Dry Shampoo 'Tokyo' link
I had been searching high and low for these babies since they were released! CoLab is the baby of Ruth Crilly (A Model Recommends) and as a dry shampoo junkie I had been desperate to get my hands on these. I tried all the different scents out and landed on Tokyo being my favourite - it's slightly spicy which I love. I used it last night and from a first impressions stand point it's great! Completely invisible, doesn't feel chalky and the smell is lovely.

L'Oreal SuperLiner Perfect Slim link
Ok, we don't need to go over this again... this is epic, it's my favourite, I've reviewed it tons before and mentioned it in a forever repurchased post. Yep, this is my millionth repurchase of this incredible liner.

L'Oreal False Lash Architect Waterproof mascara link
I have a serious stash of mascaras but in a bid to trim the collection down I'd been trying to use them up, now I'm finally in need of a new one I didn't really know where to start. I wanted a waterproof mascara, as it holds a curl in my lashes, but in the drugstore I'm not sure on what to go for. I ended up picking this L'Oreal one up and so far, it's ok. It's not as volumising as my beloved Lancome Hypnose but it's doing the job well. Suggestions welcome, please!

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette link
Urm, hello Naked 3 palette? Yeah! I'd been aware of Makeup Revolution for a while but never picked anything up. At £4 I couldn't really turn this down! The shadows are identical to the Urban Decay offering, although I can't compare formula or pigmentation so far I'm impressed. I had a play yesterday but need to experiment some more with these pinky shades. I've been looking into Makeup Revolution a little more recently and have my eye on a highlighting palette and a blush/bronze/highlight trio similar to Urban Decay's Flushed palettes!

What have you bought recently?
